Roundhouse

About the venue

Set in Chalk Farm, north London, the Roundhouse is a concert and performing arts space inside a Grade II* listed former railway engine shed. Built in 1846–47 by the London & North Western Railway around a turntable, it served trains for only about ten years, then became a warehouse before falling empty shortly before the Second World War. It gained listed status in 1954.
